I’m giving a talk today at the AWS User Group Ljubljana about my attempt at making AWS Fargate container startup times shorter by playing around with layer sizes for a given image.

I failed at my goal, the startup times on Fargate are still the same for me, but my idea works great for AWS ECS over EC2 or any other docker runtime that isn’t Fargate, so yey.
